The
Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts a three-day wave of unstable
weather starting Wednesday, with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in some areas
of the country.
Cold weather and moderate rainfall are expected in Greater Cairo over the three days, the EMA said on Monday.
On Thursday, heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of the north coast, while Lower Egypt is expected to see moderate to heavy rainfall. On Friday, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of the north coasts, while Lower Egypt is forecast to see moderate rainfall.
The meteorologist called for all preventative measures be taken to mitigate the negative consequences of the expected rainfall.
