Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar asserted the importance of a project to set up security fences at all entrances to and exits of Cairo International Airport, he noted that the project is part of the ministry's high-priority strategic plans to ensure maximum security at the facility.
The minister made his remarks during a site visit to follow up progress of the project on Sunday.
During his inspection tour, Manar underlined the need to install security cameras and modern security systems at all fences in a bid to beef up security and control measures around the facility.
He also instructed the project team to speed up construction work in order complete the project as scheduled.
