Egypt's unemployment rate declined to 7.3 percent in the
third quarter of 2020, down from 9.6 percent in the previous quarter, the
Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said on Sunday
15/11/2020.
The total workforce increased by 5.6 percent to reach 28.171 million compared to 26,689 in the previous quarter, the CAPMAS said.
The number of jobless people included 2.061 million, including 1.38 million males and 680,000 females, according to CAPMAS.
