Cairo Governor Major-General Khaled Abdel Aal witnessed on Tuesday the delivery of 129 final and notarized contracts for some factories and workshops in Shaq El-Thoaban area after their official legalization at a cost of 200 million. The governor pointed out that these factories and workshops have officially become part of the state’s formal economy after finishing the legalization procedures and delivering the final contracts.
The governor also asserted that in line with President Sisi’s instruction to quickly legalize the status of the owners of workshops and factories in Shaq El-Thoaban area, the governorate developed a future vision for Shaq El-Thoaban industrial zone in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The governor added that over the past period authorities in Cairo governorate took several steps to develop Shaq El-Thoaban industrial zone of marble and granite, including utilities (water- sanitary- electricity-roads), construction of a road linked to the regional Ring Road, a logistic zone, a fire station, an ambulance station, and recycling factories.
The governor further stressed that the main goal of the area’s development is to increase production, create new investment and job opportunities, improve the environment, and upgrade infrastructure.
