Cairo Governor Major-General Khaled Abdel Aal urged all districts’ chiefs and all relevant authorities to coordinate with security forces to put an end to all street occupancies that distort the appearance of the capital stressing that the ongoing campaign aims to free Cairo from street occupancies.
The governor further said that the crackdown across Cairo is to remove street occupancies and take the necessary legal actions against violators ahead of Eid Al-Adha holiday.
The governor also asserted that authorities will not tolerate any violations and that the city and its executive bodies fully prepared for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holiday adding that Cairo’s operations room will receive any reports during the holiday.
