Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Sunday
inaugurated the new headquarters of Cairo International Center for Conflict
Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA), which is set to help
enhance the center's ability to perform its duties and implement its programs.
Shoukry also chaired the meeting of the Center's Board of Directors, which includes in its membership representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Higher Education and Scientific Research as well as international experts, said Ahmed Hafez, the Foreign Ministry spokesman.
The meeting dealt with the activities and projects of the Center during the last period and the financial and administrative developments, Hafez said, adding that it also discussed the proposed work strategy for the period 2020-2022, as part of the Egyptian state’s continuous efforts to activate all its tools in the field of peacekeeping to face the challenges posed by regional and international developments.
