Tourism
and Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anany discussed on Saturday executive steps
to begin launching an international promotional campaign for Egypt abroad.
In a meeting at the
Tourism and Antiquities Ministry's headquarters, Anany probed the agreement on
selecting a large international company to draw up a media, marketing, and
promotional strategy for Egypt, which is set to last for three years.
The talks touched on the campaign's basic axes and its strategy to lure
tourists from different nationalities.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Egyptian Tourism Federation, the
chief executive of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, and a number of the
ministry's officials
