Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed that
study had never been disrupted at universities.
Chairing a meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities at Helwan University on Saturday, Abdel Ghaffar added that preparations are underway for 1st-semester exams based on the hybrid education system approved by the council and in compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions.
Abdel Ghaffar urged university presidents to constantly and directly follow up preparations at university hospitals to ensure that they have adequate stocks of COVID-19 medicines and personal protective equipment.
He also underlined the need to ensure that these hospitals are fully prepared for any potential outbreak scenarios.
