Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal directed
on Monday the chief of Tora district to find an immediate and a drastic solution
after receiving a complaint from the residents of the area about sewage overflow
that flooded several homes on Basit Francis Street.
The relevant authorities immediately examined and investigated the problem caused by a sewer blockage after one of the plastic factories dumped its waste at the sewer network. Therefore, the governor directed to shut down the factory and take the necessary legal actions for committing these environmental violations.
