Minister of Education Tarek Shawky
on Monday said there are no plans to close schools across the country, pointing
out to the preventive measures adopted by the ministry to protect students and teachers
as well ensure the completion of the semester and carrying out just assessment.
The first semester will continue as per the set schedule, the minister wrote on Facebook, adding that school lessons and attendance are to continue till January 10, 2021.
The exams will be held for the different academic stages between January 10- February 5, 2021, the minister added.
