Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, conducted a field tour of several districts in the Northern Area to follow up on ongoing development projects and assess the level of services provided to citizens, as part of the governorate’s plan to enhance the urban appearance and improve the quality of life across the capital’s various districts.
The tour included an inspection of the Al-Morakkabat Square development and renovation works in the Sharabia District, as well as a review of the work completed to improve the square’s overall appearance, enhance cleanliness and lighting, and upgrade sidewalks. These efforts are intended to improve traffic flow and enhance the area’s visual appearance.
During the tour, the Cairo Governor also followed up on development and renovation works in the Khalousi area of Shubra District, directing that the ongoing works be completed promptly, while continuing efforts to remove waste and unauthorized street occupations and maintain order in the area, thereby directly improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
The Cairo Governor stressed the need for continuous field monitoring of ongoing projects and for preserving the improvements that have already been completed, while promptly addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
The Governor was accompanied during the tour by Major General Omar El-Shafei, Deputy Governor for the Northern Area, along with a number of senior governorate officials.
