Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation for Facilitating Hajj, will oversee the public electronic lottery to select pilgrims from civil society organizations for the 1448 AH – 2027 Hajj season the day after tomorrow, Tuesday. The final lottery results will be announced on the websites of the Ministry and the National Foundation for Facilitating Hajj and will also be published at the directorates and social administration offices.
The electronic lottery will select 12,000 pilgrims, representing the quota allocated to civil society organizations by the Supreme Committee for Hajj, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. More than 66,000 men and women applied for this season through the Unified Hajj Portal.
The lottery ceremony is also scheduled to include the announcement of the prices of the various Hajj programs offered by the National Foundation for Facilitating Hajj for the 1448 AH – 2027 season.
