Head of the Central Department for Social Protection at the Ministry of Social Solidarity Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman announced that the ministry has launched, in line with attention to citizens’ daily needs and as an extension to the social protection system, the initiative “Bokra el-Madrasa…El-Khair fi Masr” to support vulnerable families and groups.
Abdel Rahman said that the initiative aims to provide a comprehensive school bag for students in the primary and preparatory stages from vulnerable families to ease the economic burden on families, respect the child’s dignity, and ensure they begin the school year ready to learn and dream.
Abdel Rahman added that the ministry has applied digitalization methods in executing the initiative, relying on several tools, including online registration to benefit from the program via the online platform “Bokra el-madrasa.”
