EMA: Slight drop in temperatures; Cairo highs at 34°C

Meteorologists at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority predict that moderate to warm and humid weather will prevail in the morning, while it will be hot and humid during the day over northern regions up to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, extremely hot over South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, and warm and humid at night across most of the country.

The EMA also forecasts morning fog on some roads leading to and from northern regions up to Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which may be dense at times. Winds will also be active across most areas intermittently.

As for the Mediterranean Sea, conditions will be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and northwesterly surface winds. The Red Sea will be moderate to rough, with wave heights from 1.5 to 2.5 meters and northwesterly surface winds.

In the Gulf of Suez, conditions will be moderate to rough, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 2.5 meters and northwesterly surface winds.

Meteorologists predict that Cairo will see highs of 35°C and lows of 23°C.
