The Egyptian BRT Company announced that the operating hours of buses on the first and second phases will remain unchanged following the implementation of winter time, effective at midnight on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The company confirmed that the current operating schedules will continue without any changes, ensuring regular service and facilitating citizens’ daily commutes.
The company explained that the operating hours for the first phase of the BRT system, in both directions, will be as follows:
From El-Zera’i Station to Golf Station: The first bus departs at 5:00 AM, and the last bus departs at 11:00 PM.
From Golf Station to El-Zera’i Station: The first bus departs at 5:00 AM, and the last bus departs at midnight (12:00 AM).
Regarding the second phase, the company confirmed that the operating hours will remain as follows:
From El-Zera’i Station to Sun Capital: The first bus departs at 5:00 AM, and the last bus departs at 9:00 PM.
From Sun Capital Station to El-Zera’i Station: The first bus departs at 6:00 AM, and the last bus departs at 10:00 PM.
The company reaffirmed that BRT services will continue to operate according to the announced schedules without any adjustments following the implementation of winter time. This will help maintain service regularity and facilitate travel between the various stations. Passengers are also advised to check departure times before setting out to ensure they arrive at their destinations on time.
