New training and employment opportunities have been announced in elderly care, prioritizing members of families benefiting from the “Takaful and Karama” program. The training programs are organized by the Care with Love Association under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in cooperation with the NGO Projects Support Fund and the Elderly Care Fund.
The programs aim to qualify applicants for jobs in home-based and healthcare services for the elderly through intensive theoretical and practical training with a residential component, helping participants acquire the skills needed to work in this field.
Two training and qualification programs:
Two training opportunities are available. The first is a 19-day program to qualify participants as a “Live-in Elderly Companion,” preparing trainees to accompany older people and assist them with their daily activities.
The second program aims to train “Primary Home Healthcare Providers” through a 36-day course, equipping participants with the skills needed to provide basic healthcare to older people at home.
Free training and employment contracts:
The organizing entities will cover the full cost of training and provide employment opportunities for graduates, who may be contracted through the association in accordance with the program’s conditions. Graduates will be entitled to the employment rights stipulated under Egyptian labor law.
Application requirements:
The program has established several eligibility requirements, including:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and spelling.
- A secondary or lower educational qualification, including primary school, preparatory school, or a diploma.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years old.
- Commitment to schedules and instructions, and successful completion of a personal interview.
- No chronic illnesses that hinder mobility.
- Commitment to completing the training and working for the period specified in the contract, in accordance with the program’s conditions and the required financial guarantee.
According to the announcement, November 3, 2026, is the final application deadline.
