EgyptAir announced the suspension of flights from Cairo and Alexandria airports to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, until further notice, in coordination with the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority. The decision comes amid the temporary suspension of operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh due to the current situation.
The company confirmed that passengers with confirmed bookings who wish to change their flight itinerary to another destination within Saudi Arabia can make the necessary changes without paying any modification fees or fare differences.
EgyptAir added that customers who wish to cancel their bookings can receive a refund for their ticket costs without any cancellation fees, in accordance with the applicable procedures.
The company explained that its Integrated Operations Center is monitoring developments around the clock to keep track of updates and respond accordingly. It also stated that any new developments will be announced as they occur.
