Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, has directed the opening of applications for aid and assistance through the Ministry of Awqaf’s General Administration for Charitable Affairs, with EGP 160 million allocated for this purpose. The initiative provides various forms of support for vulnerable and low-income groups across society, following a suspension that lasted several years.
The Ministry will begin accepting applications for assistance for debt-burdened individuals, as well as support for public schools, institutes, and universities, from October 1, 2026, through October 30, 2026.
