Cairo Governor: No complaints received during Eid Adha holiday

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber stated that Cairo’s National Network for Emergency and Public Safety Control Center, the Central Operations Room, and the sub-operations rooms in the districts and directorates had not received any notifications or complaints about service shortages during the Eid Al-Adha holiday. He also stated that the governorate's executive bodies successfully carried out the plan designed to fulfill citizens' needs throughout the Eid holiday.

Moreover, Saber stated that all districts and directorates were on high alert, and all leave had been canceled throughout the holiday. All executives involved in providing services to citizens at the governorate level were present at their locations. He noted that the provision of all services continued as usual.

Saber further stated that the governorate has taken all necessary measures to ensure the availability of food commodities for citizens during Eid al-Adha. He also emphasized that control over markets and public shops was tightened to regulate prices, prevent exploitation and monopolization of goods, and conduct regular inspections of bakeries to ensure the production of bread that meets quality standards. Additionally, joint campaigns have been intensified among the directorates of veterinary medicine, health, supply, and the supply investigations department to inspect all outlets and shops selling and distributing fresh and frozen meat, ensuring their suitability for consumption to protect public health.

Saber added that cleanliness campaigns had been intensified in all streets and squares, and the efficiency of gardens has been raised to preserve the aesthetic and civilized appearance during the Eid.

Moreover, Saber stated that the National Emergency and Public Safety Network Center and the central operations room operated 24 hours a day. They were also connected to Cairo’s directorates and district operations rooms to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to citizens. He added that citizens can contact the hotline numbers 15496 and 114 to report any service-related issues they encounter, which will be addressed promptly.
