Meteorology: High temperatures today.. maximum in Cairo is 36 degrees

Experts from the General Authority of Meteorology expect that Tuesday, June 2, will witness extremely hot weather in most parts, hot on the northern coasts during the day, and moderate to hot in most parts.

Experts expect that water mist will form in the morning on some roads leading to and from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, and it may sometimes be dense on some roads.

Experts also expect light rain to fall on areas of the Western Desert, the western coasts, and northern Lower Egypt, which may sometimes be thundery, with an incidence of approximately 20%, with active winds in most parts at intermittent intervals.

As for the Mediterranean Sea, it is expected to be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters, and wind directions to southeasterly/northeasterly.

Regarding the condition of the Red Sea, experts expect it to be moderate to turbulent, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 meters to 2.5 meters, and wind directions to be northwesterly.

The Gulf of Suez is expected to be moderate to turbulent, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 2.5 meters and wind directions northwesterly.

Experts expect the maximum temperature in Cairo to be 36 degrees and the minimum to be 24 degrees.
