The Ministry of Health and Population participated in the 5th edition of Egypt’s leading cybersecurity conference and exhibition, CAISEC, held on June 8–9, 2026, under the slogan “Protecting the Future and Securing the Unpredictable,” and under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouli.
The official spokesperson of the Ministry, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, stated that the conference is supported by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and sponsored by the Ministries of Finance, Health, Transport, Higher Education, and Military Production. It also benefits from strategic partnerships with the Arab League, the Arab Organization for Telecommunications and Information Technology, Smart Africa, and the African Network of Cybersecurity Institutions (ANCA).
The event featured the inaugural roundtable, which brought together representatives from 22 countries to strengthen cybersecurity cooperation and promote digital sovereignty. It included extensive participation from international experts and global sovereign organizations.
The conference aims to address the latest challenges in protecting cyberspace, artificial intelligence security, and post-quantum cryptography, with a particular focus on safeguarding critical sectors, especially the healthcare sector. It also offers a distinguished platform for fostering international partnerships and showcasing the most advanced security technologies and solutions.
