The geometry exam was held for third-grade preparatory school students across 35 educational departments, under strict security measures to uphold exam regulations.
The director of the Cairo Education Directorate has been monitoring the operations room to follow up on the geometry exam—both the Arabic and language sections—as well as the question distribution centers since early morning.
A total of 214,367 students are sitting for the exams for the 2026/2027 academic year across 746 examination halls. Among them, 213,136 students are in the general preparatory track, 1,029 in the vocational track, and 100 in the sports track; 60 students have hearing impairments, and 42 students are visually impaired.
The Education Directorate, in coordination with the executive bodies of the Cairo Governorate, has taken all necessary measures to ensure student safety and to adhere to school preparations. These measures include daily sanitization of exam halls, supervision by a doctor, and the presence of a school nurse in each examination hall.
