Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, issued a decree declaring Thursday, July 2, 2026, a paid official holiday for employees of ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
He also confirmed that examinations will continue according to the schedules set by the competent authorities. The holiday is being observed in lieu of Tuesday, June 30, 2026, on the occasion of the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.
