The Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecasts that Wednesday, June 24, 2027, will witness mild and humid weather during the early morning hours, turning hot and humid during the day across northern regions up to Greater Cairo, while southern parts of the country will experience very hot conditions. Weather is expected to be mild and humid at night across most areas, becoming slightly warm in Upper Egypt.
The Authority noted that high humidity levels will increase the perceived temperature by about 1 to 2 degrees Celsius above the actual temperature measured in the shade.
The Authority also warned of the formation of morning fog between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. over parts of northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. The fog may become dense at times on some roads. Intermittent winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 35 km/h are also expected across most regions.
In addition, the Authority indicated a slight chance of low clouds forming over scattered areas of the northern coasts, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Canal Cities. These clouds may help moderate morning temperatures and could produce light, non-impactful drizzle in some locations.
Temperatures in Greater Cairo are expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 24°C today.
