Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber received the European Union’s Ambassador to Egypt, Angelina Eichhorst, at his office in the Cairo Governorate headquarters to explore ways to enhance cooperation between Cairo and the EU and to open new avenues for bilateral collaboration that support development efforts and realize sustainable development goals.
The meeting addressed the current development at the forefront of Cairo Governorate, the strategic initiatives being implemented, and future plans to enhance services and improve citizens' living standards. Moreover, Governor Saber reviewed the most prominent projects currently underway across various sectors.
Governor Saber also emphasized the governorate’s commitment to fostering collaboration with the European Union and leveraging its expertise and development programs to implement sustainable development projects that enhance the capital’s standing. It will also contribute to improving the quality of services provided to citizens. He further praised the fruitful partnership between both parties across numerous development sectors.
