Heads of environmental monitoring ,cleaning departments transferred over negligence

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber has decided to transfer the head of the Environmental Monitoring Unit and the head of the Cleaning Authority branch in the Sharq Madinet Nasr district due to their negligence in supervising and monitoring cleaning operations and their failure to perform their assigned duties adequately. This decision was made during his field tour of the Sharq Madinet Nasr district to follow up on the level of services provided to citizens and to assess the condition of the streets, as well as the standards of cleanliness and order.

During the tour, Governor Saber instructed the chief of the Sharq Madinet Nasr district to intensify field inspection campaigns, closely monitor the cleaning company's work, ensure prompt waste removal to prevent accumulation, and respond swiftly to citizens’ complaints by addressing them immediately.

Moreover, Saber stated that the evaluation of executive leaders’ performance depends on the actual level of services experienced by citizens on the ground, emphasizing that there will be zero tolerance for any official proven negligent or derelict in carrying out their duties.

Governor Saber also directed the intensification of cleaning campaigns, the upgrading of main and side streets and thoroughfares, and the regular review of the cleaning system. He further instructed that legal and administrative measures be taken to address any shortcomings, ensuring improved service levels and achieving citizen satisfaction.
