The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has announced the weather forecast and expected weather conditions for Monday, July 6, 2026. The authority expects warm and humid weather during the early morning, followed by very hot and humid conditions throughout the day across most parts of the country. The northern coastal areas will experience hot and humid weather, while conditions will become warm and humid at night.
The authority also warned of fog between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. affecting parts of northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, Central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
In addition, there is a slight chance (around 20%) of light rain over parts of the northern coast and the northern Nile Delta at intermittent times. There is also a slight chance of low clouds forming over the southern Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities, which may produce light, non-impactful drizzle.
For Greater Cairo, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C today.
