Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber visited the seven families affected by the collapse of a building located in Abdel Tawab Alley, off El-Damarani Street in the Manshiyat Nasser district. The families have been relocated to alternative residential units in 15th of May City. During his visit, Governor Saber said that they have access to all necessary services.
During the visit, Governor Saber provided a complete set of home furnishings to a bride whose belongings were lost in the collapse, replacing the household items she had lost. This gesture was part of the governorate's broader efforts to alleviate the impact of the incident and support the affected families.
Saber further stated that all state agencies worked to ease the burden on the affected families, noting that the governorate provided them with alternative housing units. The residential units they received were furnished and equipped with essential supplies, in accordance with the political leadership’s directives to support all citizens and ensure they lead a dignified life.
Saber said the affected families' needs will be monitored and met with the help of relevant authorities. Full social and humanitarian support will be provided until their situations stabilize.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Governors Ashraf Mansour and Dr. Ahmad Anwar Attia El-Adl, along with the Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate Sameh Fahim, the Chief of the 15 May District Mohammad Bahgat, several officials from the Cairo governorate, representatives of the Red Crescent, and members of various civil society organizations.
