Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended the graduation ceremony of the fifth batch of students at El-Sewedy Technical Academy, held at the Training Sector Theater of the Ministry of Military Production in Madinet El-Salam. The event was also attended by several ministers, senior officials, and leaders from the education and industry sectors.
The ceremony was attended by Hassan Raddad, Minister of Labor; Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry; Hazem El-Ashmouni, Sharqia Governor; Mona El-Batrawi, Deputy Cairo Governor; Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work; Mohammad Zaki El-Sewedy, President of the Federation of Egyptian Industries; Dr. Salma El-Bakry, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the "Education First" Foundation and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Council for Education, Research, and Innovation; and Maren Diale-Schellschmidt, Chief Executive Officer and top executive leader of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
During his speech, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber stated that what everyone witnessed today was not merely a graduation ceremony but a true embodiment of the state's vision and the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which prioritize technical and technological education as a national priority. He emphasized the belief that industry is the primary driver of development and the foundation for building a more prosperous future.
Governor Saber added that applied technology schools have become a pioneering model of cooperation among the state, the private sector, civil society institutions, and international partners. This collaboration helps prepare qualified technical personnel according to the latest global standards, enabling them to meet the demands of both local and international labor markets while supporting the state's efforts to localize industry and enhance production.
Moreover, Saber stated that graduates of applied technology schools possess knowledge, skills, practical experience, and discipline-qualities that enable them to confidently enter the fields of work and production. He called these graduates ambassadors of this successful educational model and key contributors to Egypt's ongoing industrial renaissance.
The governor congratulated the graduates and their families, expressing his appreciation to the administration of El-Sewedy Technical Academy, the teaching staff, and all supporting partners of this distinguished educational model. He wished the graduates continued success, hoping they would contribute their knowledge and efforts to serving the nation and realizing comprehensive development goals.
