The Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecasts that Monday, July 20, 2026, will see a continued rise in temperatures across most parts of the country.
The weather is expected to be warm and humid in the early morning, very hot and humid during the daytime across most regions, hot and humid along parts of the northern coast, and warm and humid at night in most areas.
Morning fog is expected to form between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. over parts of northern Egypt, extending to Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. The fog may become dense at times on some roads.
Winds are expected to become active at times, with speeds ranging from 30 to 35 km/h, affecting Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, South Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt intermittently. These winds are expected to help moderate nighttime conditions. In Halaib and Shalateen, the winds may occasionally raise sand and dust.
In Greater Cairo, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 26°C today.
