Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, announced that cash assistance under the "Takaful and Karama" program for July will be disbursed to 4.7 million families starting tomorrow, July 15, with a total value exceeding EGP 4 billion.
Beneficiaries will be able to collect their payments from the early hours of tomorrow morning through ATMs of banks across Egypt. They may also use the funds for electronic payments, government transactions, and purchases.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity is monitoring the disbursement process for the Takaful and Karama program in coordination with the directors of the Ministry’s social solidarity offices across the governorates to ensure that payments are processed smoothly.
It is worth noting that the program provides cash support to 4.7 million low-income families, benefiting approximately 17 million citizens, with an annual budget of EGP 54 billion.
