Cairo Governor meets ‘Mustafa Prince,’ Helwan Streets Cleaning Initiative leader

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber met with Mustafa Hashem, popularly known as “Mustafa El-Prince,” who leads a volunteer initiative to clean several streets in the Masaken area of Helwan in cooperation with local residents. The initiative also involves painting walls and decorating them with artistic murals that help enhance the neighborhood’s appearance and add an artistic touch reflecting a spirit of belonging and beauty.

During his meeting, Governor Saber praised the voluntary efforts underway, highlighting that they demonstrate a strong spirit of social responsibility. He emphasized that the governorate is committed to supporting and encouraging positive initiatives that promote a culture of cleanliness, enhance the city’s civilized appearance, and foster values of community participation and volunteerism among youth.

Saber also stated that citizens' engagement in maintaining the cleanliness and beautification of neighborhoods is a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development. He added that the governorate continues to support all initiatives aimed at improving the environment and enhancing the capital's urban image.

Meanwhile, Mustafa Hashem expressed his happiness at meeting the Cairo governor, emphasizing his commitment to advancing his initiative to beautify the streets of Helwan. He extended his gratitude to the governorate for its support and encouragement of community initiatives, noting that such backing helps promote a culture of preserving public property and strengthens the sense of civic responsibility.
