Public Prosecution affirms ongoing clearance of custody yards, optimization of state assets

The Public Prosecution has continued its efforts to clear custody yards and maximize the utilization of state assets. These efforts have led to the clearance of sixty-five custody yards, the recovery of assets valued at approximately 4.5 billion Egyptian pounds, the return of more than 100,000 vehicles to their owners, and an increase in revenue from vehicle sales to around LE 2.5 billion.

The Public Prosecution has also signed a cooperation protocol with the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to organize and manage public auctions for the sale of confiscated vehicles. This protocol ensures proper governance of the sales procedures and maximizes the financial returns for the state.
