Meteorologists forecast extremely hot and humid daytime conditions across most regions today, Monday, with hot and humid weather along parts of the North Coast; nighttime conditions are expected to be warm and humid.
Regarding weather phenomena, morning mist is expected on roads leading to and from the north of the country—extending to Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and Northern Upper Egypt—with visibility potentially becoming poor at times on certain routes. Winds will be active across most areas, potentially raising sand and dust in some open areas along the Western Coast.
The Meteorological Authority indicated that the intense heatwave is expected to break tomorrow, Tuesday.
Forecasted temperatures for Cairo today are a high of 37°C and a low of 25°C.
