Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, inaugurated the “Welcome Back to Schools” Exhibition and the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Sweets Exhibition, organized by a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate in Al-Waily District. The exhibitions aim to provide school supplies, educational materials, and essential items for students at affordable prices and with discounts that help ease the financial burden on families. The Governor of Cairo was accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Anwar Attia El-Adl, Deputy Governor for the Western Region, as well as a number of senior officials from the governorate and members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, emphasized that organizing such exhibitions is part of the state’s efforts to facilitate access to essential goods for citizens and ease the burden on Egyptian families in preparation for the start of the new academic year. He highlighted the importance of expanding the establishment of exhibitions and outlets that provide essential goods and necessities at discounted prices while maintaining high quality.
The Governor of Cairo noted that community participation represents an important pillar in supporting the state’s efforts to serve citizens. He stressed that cooperation among civil society organizations, political parties, the private sector, and executive authorities contributes to implementing initiatives and projects that respond to citizens’ needs, particularly during occasions that require greater support and assistance.
The Governor of Cairo stressed the need to adhere to the advertised prices and ensure the quality of the products on display, in order to achieve the objectives of the exhibition and provide citizens with a genuine service. He affirmed that the governorate is committed to supporting community initiatives aimed at easing the burden on citizens and providing for their needs at affordable prices.
The Governor of Cairo toured the exhibition’s various sections and reviewed the products and supplies on display, which included school stationery and supplies, school uniforms, bags, and other student necessities, in addition to Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday sweets.
