Announcement of available places for Science-track students in Phase 3 admissions

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the vacant places in the third phase of the coordination process for admission to public universities and institutes for Egyptian General Secondary Certificate students in the scientific tracks under the new system, coinciding with preparations to begin registering the preferences of third-phase students through the electronic coordination website.

The list of available places for students in the Science and Mathematics tracks includes a large number of colleges and institutes, including public colleges in the fields of Arts, Education, Law, Agriculture, Science, Tourism and Hotels, and Social Work, as well as technological colleges, technological universities, and private higher institutes.

The vacant places announced by the Ministry of Higher Education include a number of public colleges, including:

Faculties of Arts: Arts faculties at Cairo, Alexandria, Ain Shams, Mansoura, Zagazig, Tanta, Benha, Beni Suef, Menoufia, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Aswan, Damietta, Damanhour, Kafr El Sheikh, Port Said, Arish, Fayoum, New Valley, and the Capital at Helwan.

Faculties of Arts under the directed affiliation system: Places are available at a number of universities, including Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Mansoura, Zagazig, Tanta, Benha, Beni Suef, Menoufia, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Aswan, Damietta, Damanhour, Kafr El Sheikh, and others.

Faculties of Education: Places are available at the Faculties of Education at Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Zagazig, Mansoura, Tanta, Benha, Beni Suef, Menoufia, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Kafr El Sheikh, Damietta, Damanhour, Matrouh, Arish, New Valley, Hurghada, Suez Canal, Sadat City, and others.

Faculties of Physical Education: Places for both male and female students are available at a number of universities, including Alexandria, Zagazig, Suez, Helwan, Arish, Fayoum, Mansoura, Menoufia, Minya, New Valley, Aswan, Assiut, Benha, Beni Suef, Port Said, Damietta, Sohag, Tanta, Qena, Suez Canal, Kafr El Sheikh, Sadat City, and Matrouh.

Faculties of Specific Education: Places are available at Alexandria, Zagazig, Fayoum, Cairo, Mansoura, Minya, Aswan, Assiut, Benha, Port Said, Damanhour, Damietta, Sohag, Tanta, Ain Shams, Qena, Kafr El Sheikh, and Matrouh, in addition to the Mansoura branches in Mit Ghamr and Minya El Nasr, and the Menoufia branch in Ashmoun.

Faculties of Law: Law faculties at Cairo, Alexandria, Ain Shams, Mansoura, Menoufia, Benha, Beni Suef, Tanta, Aswan, Sadat City, and the Capital at Helwan, in addition to a number of Law faculties under the directed affiliation system.

Faculties of Agriculture: Available places include Agriculture at Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Zagazig, Mansoura, Menoufia, Minya, New Valley, Assiut, Benha, Beni Suef, Damietta, Sohag, Tanta, Qena, Suez Canal, Kafr El Sheikh, and Matrouh, with some programs designated for Mathematics-track students.

Faculties of Archaeology: Archaeology at Cairo, Ain Shams, Fayoum, Luxor, Aswan, Damietta, Sohag, and Qena, in addition to Archaeology and Languages at Matrouh.

Faculties of Social Work and Dar Al Uloom: The list includes Social Work at Helwan, Fayoum, Aswan, and Assiut, as well as Developmental Social Work at Beni Suef, in addition to Dar Al Uloom at Fayoum, Minya, and Aswan, and some directed-affiliation programs.

Faculties of Tourism and Hotels: Tourism and Hotels at Alexandria, Cairo in Manial, Hurghada, Fayoum, Mansoura, Minya, Beni Suef, Suez Canal in Ismailia, Sadat City, Matrouh, and Luxor.

The Ministry of Higher Education's list also included vacant places at a number of technological colleges, including: the College of Industry and Energy Technology at 6th of October Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology at Borg El Arab Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology at Samanoud Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology at East Port Said Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology at Delta Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology at New Cairo Technological University; and the College of Industry and Energy Technology at Assiut Technological University.

The list also included the College of Industry and Energy Technology at Tiba Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology in Cairo at Helwan International Technological University; the College of Industry and Energy Technology in Fayoum–Damo at Fayoum International Technological University; the Egyptian-Korean College of Industry and Energy Technology at Beni Suef Technological University; and the Egyptian-German Technological College at Assiut International Technological University.

The list also included other technological specializations, such as Fisheries and Fish Technology in Aswan; Sugar Industry and Integrated Industries Technology in Assiut; and Zagazig Technology and Development, Agricultural Sciences, as well as Zagazig Technology and Development, Financial and Administrative Sciences.

Among the most notable options on the list of vacant places are a number of engineering and computer-related programs, particularly at private institutes and colleges, including: Al-Ahram Higher Institute for Engineering and Technology – 6th of October; Modern Academy in Maadi – Engineering with tuition fees; Cairo Higher Institute, Engineering Division, First Settlement; Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Al-Tod, Luxor; Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Mahalla El Kubra; Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Menoufia; Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Borg El Arab, Alexandria; Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in King Mariout; Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in El Manzala; and Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Sohag.
