Cairo Gov. meets newly appointed district chiefs, urges on- ground presence

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber met in his office at the governorate headquarters with the newly appointed district chiefs of Matareya, Ain Shams, West Nasr City, and Mokattam.

During the meeting, the governor emphasized the importance of maintaining a constant on-the-ground presence among citizens, listening to their requests, and taking immediate action to address them within the framework of the law. He added that serving citizens is the governorate's core responsibility.

Saber urged the new district chiefs to exert maximum effort, emphasizing that the impact of each chief must be visible on the streets and felt by the citizens.

The governor also emphasized the importance of cooperation with civil society, as well as with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, to support executive bodies in implementing the state’s plans to improve citizens' quality of life.

Saber further emphasized the need for the new district chiefs to expedite citizens’ affairs, respond promptly to incidents, communicate effectively, maintain continuous field monitoring throughout the day, accelerate the implementation of the investment plan, and enhance performance levels.

Governor Saber previously issued a decision appointing the following officials: Mohammad Abdel Naim Abdel Rahman has been appointed chief of the Matareya district, transferred from the Rod El-Farag district; Amr Saad Mostafa Eissawi has been appointed chief of the Mokattam district, transferred from the Matareya district. He also appointed Jehan Gado Hassanein as chief of the Ain Shams district, transferred from Gharb Madinet Nasr; Rasha Hesham Ibrahim Abdel Mo'aty as chief of the Gharb Madinet Nasr district, transferred from the position of secretary of the Maadi district; Nasser Talaat Mohammad Hussein as chief of the Rod El-Farag district, transferred from his position as secretary of the Shubra district; and Hesham Hussein Mustafa Abu Hussein, who is returning to his position as secretary of the Mokattam district.
