Today, Saturday, the second-round examinations for the Al-Azhar Primary and Preparatory Certificate students began across all Al-Azhar educational regions nationwide, in accordance with the examination schedule approved by the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector. This follows the completion of all necessary preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations in the examination halls.
Al-Azhar educational administrations and regional offices finalized their preparations to receive students by completing the setup of examination venues, assigning chief invigilators and proctors, and providing all necessary supplies to ensure the orderly administration of the examinations. They also emphasized strict adherence to the regulations governing the examination process and maintaining discipline within the examination halls.
Students taking the second-round examinations will sit for their scheduled subjects according to the official timetable. Primary Certificate examinations will continue until Thursday, August 6, while Preparatory Certificate examinations will run until Saturday, August 8. The examinations are being held simultaneously across all Al-Azhar regions nationwide.
The Al-Azhar Institutes Sector is monitoring the examinations through its central and regional operations rooms to identify any issues that could affect the smooth running of the examination process and address them immediately, ensuring that students have a suitable environment in which to take their exams.
The second-round examinations are part of Al-Azhar's plan to complete the 2025–2026 academic year and provide students who were unsuccessful in the first round with another opportunity to pass their subjects and advance to the next educational stage, in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the examination process.
