Today, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is organizing a major celebration to determine the champion of the tenth season of the Arab Reading Challenge project, amid a competitive atmosphere that reflects the advanced level reached by Al-Azhar students in reading, comprehension and analysis skills.
The closing ceremony will be attended by Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani, Acting Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, Mr. Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharqawi, Acting Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, and Dr. Fauzan Al-Khalidi, Director of the Programs and Initiatives Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation.
The names of the top ten students from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif will be announced, along with 3 people of determination, in appreciation of their distinguished performance during the qualifying stages. The first place from the categories of students and people of determination will also be chosen to represent Al-Azhar Al-Sharif –Arab Republic of Egypt– in the closing ceremony of the Arab Reading Challenge Initiative, scheduled to be held in Dubai, with the participation of representatives from about 22 Arab countries, in a scene that reflects the expansion of the initiative's scope and its leadership in the Arab world.
