The Ministry of Transport has provided a distinctive system for subscriptions to the East Nile Monorail Project, which contributes to reducing the ticket value by 50% for all types of subscriptions (weekly – monthly – quarterly).
The Ministry explained in a statement that participation is as follows:-
1- Weekly subscription, limited to 14 flights, with a validity period of 14 days (one area with 5 stations, worth 140 pounds, with a 50% discount – two areas with 10 stations, worth 280 pounds, with a 50% discount – three areas with 15 stations, worth 385 pounds, with a 50% discount – four areas "full line", 22 stations, worth 560 pounds, with a 50% discount).
2- Monthly subscription, limited to 60 flights with a validity period of 60 days (one area with 5 stations, worth 600 pounds, with a 50% discount – two areas with 10 stations, worth 1,200 pounds, with a 50% discount – three areas with 15 stations, worth 1,650 pounds, with a 50% discount – four areas "full line", 22 stations, worth 2,400 pounds, with a 50% discount).
3- Quarterly subscription, limited to 180 flights with a validity period of 180 days (one area with 5 stations, worth 1800 pounds, with a 50% discount – two areas with 10 stations, worth 3600 pounds, with a 50% discount – three areas with 15 stations, worth 4950 pounds, with a 50% discount – four areas "full line", 22 stations, worth 7200 pounds, with a 50% discount)
The ministry's statement explained that the entire first phase for employees in the new capital has only 14 stations, from Field Marshal Tantawi Station to the Government District Station in the new capital, and therefore all employee tickets and subscriptions will be located at most in the third zone of the ticket and subscription system.
The statement also indicated that ACTA, which operates public transport buses within the new capital, has provided ACTA buses in front of the government district station in the new capital to transport passengers arriving in the capital via monorail trains to various ministries and all parts of the new capital.
