The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that on Saturday, extremely hot and humid weather will prevail during the daytime across most areas, with hot conditions along the northern coasts. At night, the weather will be moderately warm and humid in most regions, tending toward heat in Upper Egypt.
Early morning fog is expected on some roads leading to and from the northern parts of the country, extending to Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. At times, the mist may become dense on certain routes.
There will also be intermittent wind activity over Greater Cairo, the northwestern coasts, Upper Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea Governorate, and the Western Desert. Additionally, there is a slight chance of light rain in parts of the northern coastal governorates and the northern Delta regions.
Conditions in the Mediterranean Sea are expected to be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and northwesterly winds. In the Red Sea, conditions will vary from moderate to turbulent, with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters and winds also originating from the northwest.
Meteorologists predict that Cairo will see highs of 36°C and lows of 24°C.
