Al-Ghouri Creativity Center, located on Al-Azhar Street and affiliated with the Cultural Development Fund of the Ministry of Culture, will kick off its first event of celebrations marking the anniversary of the great October Victory with a concert by the Saltana Band at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 1.
The event comes in line with the Ministry of Culture’s strategy to promote the role of the arts in national occasions, support emerging artistic talents, and offer performance opportunities for creative groups through the artistic and cultural programs provided by the Cultural Development Fund. This strategy aims to reach a wider audience and enhance the role of the creativity centers affiliated with the fund.
The Saltana Band was founded in 2022 by artist Mohammad Ali and led artistically by Mohammad Hussein. It presents a musical vision that blends the authenticity of Egyptian and Arab musical heritage with contemporary interpretation.
The concert will feature a selection of patriotic and heritage songs that hold a special place in Egypt’s collective memory and national consciousness.
