Egypt has launched a dynamic media campaign to
showcase the stability and safety of its tourism sector. Amid the current
regional developments, the Ministry, in cooperation with the Egyptian Tourism
Federation, is documenting the daily experiences of international tourists to
reassure the world that Egypt remains a secure and welcoming destination.
The campaign centers on daily video testimonials from
tourists across various nationalities currently visiting Egypt’s top
destinations. These short clips, shared across the digital platforms of the
Ministry and the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, capture the
positive atmosphere and authentic experiences of visitors.
Minister Sherif Fathy is personally reviewing these
testimonials to monitor tourist satisfaction and regional impact trends. This
initiative not only counters misinformation but also helps the Ministry enhance
the quality of services and the overall visitor experience.
Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority
for Tourism Promotion, noted that the footage consistently reflects a strong
sense of security among visitors. "The mental image of Egypt as a safe
haven remains intact," he stated, adding that the Authority is committed
to sharing as many diverse tourist stories as possible.
Suzan Mostafa, Head of the Central Department of
Tourism Marketing, highlighted that these videos provide a "live and
direct" picture of tourism in Egypt. By showcasing real-time impressions,
the campaign highlights Egypt’s diverse attractions and its stable environment,
proving that the flow of tourism remains unaffected by external regional
tensions.
