Head of the Climate Change Information Center at the
Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Dr. Mohamed Ali
Fahim, announced an expected change in weather conditions starting at the
end of this week.
Fahim indicated that the recent cold wave affecting
the country has subsided, confirming that the extreme cold will begin to
gradually recede. A noticeable improvement in nighttime conditions is expected.
Fahim explained that weather maps indicate a period of
relative warmth during nighttime hours, which will alleviate the severity of
the frost that impacted daily activities and agricultural crops in the past
period.
This shift is due to a change in the sources of air
masses affecting the region. Wind activity and agricultural warnings are also
expected.
Despite the improvement in temperatures, the Head of
the Climate Change Information Center noted the continuation of intermittent
wind activity during daytime hours.
He advised farmers and citizens to be cautious of
these gusts of wind, especially in open areas, while emphasizing that the
overall weather is trending towards stability and moderation compared to
previous days.
