Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and
Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar had talks on Wednesday with Chairman of the
Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Major General Mokhtar Abdel Latif
and a delegation of the organization’s affiliated factories and companies on
strengthening joint cooperation and reviewing mechanisms for executing
construction works and healthcare facility development projects.
Abdel Ghaffar asserted the state’s strong commitment
to enhancing partnerships with national institutions, particularly the AOI, in
light of its advanced technical and industrial capabilities.
He stressed the ministry’s dedication to full
coordination with all government entities to serve the public interest and
prioritize the welfare of citizens.
He directed a comprehensive review of all
ministry-affiliated entities and continuous coordination with the AOI to
monitor ongoing projects, ensure the highest quality standards, and remove any
obstacles to guarantee timely completion and achieve the planned objectives.
Abdel Latif affirmed the AOI’s full commitment to
supporting the ministry’s plans and implementing assigned projects according to
the latest engineering and technological standards.
He underlined the organization’s industrial
capabilities in contributing to the development of healthcare facilities and
enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens.
The ministry’s official spokesperson, Hossam Abdel
Ghaffar, said the meeting included a detailed review of ongoing construction
and development projects and their implementation status.
He confirmed that the minister instructed strict
adherence to project timelines, with a focus on equipping facilities with
state-of-the-art medical devices and upgrading hospitals to improve service
quality and maximize operational efficiency.
