About

Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended the ceremony held by the Cairo Media Center within the Internal Media Sector of the State Information Service (SIS), commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the October War victory.

The celebration was also attended by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Mona Al-Batrawi; the Head of the Internal Media Sector of the State Information Service; Military Advisor to the Governor of Cairo, Brigadier General Staff Riyad Ramah; several officials from the Cairo Governorate; the heroes of the October War; and veterans.

Governor Saber stated that the victory of October 6 will remain a shining symbol in the nation's history and an eternal epic embodying the greatness of Egypt's army and its people, as well as their indomitable will. He further stated that our heroes, who etched a page of glory and dignity with their blood and reclaimed their land and status, imparted to the world the most remarkable lessons of heroism, sacrifice, and national unity.

During his speech, Saber expressed deep appreciation and pride in our brave armed forces—the nation's shield and sword—who continue their legacy of dedication and sacrifice in protecting our borders and safeguarding national security under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. In recognition of their invaluable sacrifices for the nation's progress, he also praised the heroes of the October War. The celebration featured a series of artistic performances and songs presented by children with disabilities and school students, and several October War heroes were honored as well.
