A
stretch of relatively calm winter weather is expected across much of Egypt
through Sunday, with chilly early mornings giving way to mild, pleasant
afternoons, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority.
Early risers should
keep an eye out for light to moderate morning mist between 4:00 am and 9:00 am,
particularly on highways and roads in northern areas, Greater Cairo, the Suez
Canal cities, Central Sinai, and parts of northern Upper Egypt. Winds may pick
up at times but are not expected to be disruptive.
In Cairo and Lower
Egypt, daytime temperatures will hover around 20–21°C for most of the next week, while nights will feel noticeably
cooler, dropping to 9-12°C.
Overall, the week
ahead looks settled and seasonably cool, crisp mornings, mild afternoons, and
sweater weather after sunset.
