Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber attended a ceremony organized by Cairo's Social Solidarity Directorate to honor several outstanding mothers at the Cairo Governorate level.

The celebration honored 97 exemplary mothers, including five at the national level and 37 at the governorate level. Among them were foster mothers and mothers of children with special needs, recognized for their sacrifices and ongoing dedication.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Governors Ashraf Mansour, Eng. Mona El-Batrawi, Dr. Ahmad Anwar Attia, and Omar Mahmoud El-Shafaei, along with Director of Social Solidarity Directorate Sameh Fahim and several officials from the Cairo Governorate.

During the ceremony, Governor Saber stated that this occasion renews the highest expressions of love, loyalty, and appreciation for every mother, who symbolizes giving, embodies tenderness, and serves as the foundation for building society and ensuring its stability. He added that a mother is not only the giver of life but also the creator of generations, the instiller of values, and the builder of individuals capable of facing future challenges. She is the first school, the virtuous educator, and the bearer of a noble and priceless message.

Saber also praised the strong support provided by the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for women's and mothers' issues. He said that recent years have seen unprecedented efforts to empower Egyptian women at all levels, whether through presidential initiatives, social protection programs, or enhancing their roles in decision-making positions. He further emphasized that this focus has resulted in the launch of numerous initiatives aimed at supporting Egyptian mothers and ensuring a decent quality of life for them and their families. This underscores the political leadership's conviction that empowering women is fundamental to building the New Republic.

Moreover, Saber stated that this celebration highlights the state's and its institutions' recognition of the Egyptian mother's role, especially the exemplary mother who serves as a model of patience, perseverance, and sacrifice. He emphasized that honoring these distinguished figures is a message of appreciation to every Egyptian mother who gives everything precious for the sake of her family and her country.

Saber also expressed his gratitude to the minister of social solidarity, the ministry, and the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Cairo for their outstanding efforts, which embody the spirit of social solidarity and demonstrate a commitment to highlighting positive and honorable role models within society.

Furthermore, the governor affirmed that supporting and empowering mothers is a true investment in the nation's future. He emphasized that we will continue to work towards providing all necessary care and attention to them in recognition of their vital role.

At the conclusion of the activities, Saber sincerely congratulated all the honored mothers, emphasizing that supporting and empowering Egyptian mothers will remain a top priority in executive actions, as they are the cornerstone of building the nation's future.
