The highly anticipated “Tutankhamun – The Immersive Exhibition” will make its international premiere at the Grand Egyptian Museum in November.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) announced a unique temporary exhibition that promises to offer an enchanting perspective on Ancient Egypt’s captivating history.

For the first time in Egypt, the GEM will host the highly acclaimed “Tutankhamun – The Immersive Exhibition” in partnership with Madrid Artes Digitales. Scheduled to open its doors in November, coinciding with the very month when King Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered over a century ago, the exhibition will provide a novel and creative storytelling experience, making it a one-of-a-kind opportunity to rediscover King Tutankhamun’s story in an entirely new way.

In a truly immersive experience, using state-of-the-art digital projections, visitors will step into the life of the legendary King Tutankhamun, embarking on a remarkable audiovisual journey that spans over 3,400 years of history.

As they explore the recreated temples, treasures, and secrets of Ancient Egypt, they will be enveloped in a 360-degree visual spectacle, paired with an exceptional soundtrack that enhances the experience.

“The Tutankhamun Immersive Exhibition,” launched in Madrid, Spain in November 2022 by Madrid Artes Digitales at their digital arts center ‘MAD’, received widespread acclaim, attracting over 300 thousand visitors in just eight months. The exhibition has also earned numerous prestigious awards, solidifying its status as a must-see cultural experience.

This cutting-edge exhibition is part of the GEM’s temporary exhibition series managed and organized by Legacy Development and Management.
