The Immersive Exhibition” will make its international premiere at the Grand
Egyptian Museum in November.
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
announced a unique temporary exhibition that promises to offer an enchanting
perspective on Ancient Egypt’s captivating history.
For the first time in Egypt, the GEM
will host the highly acclaimed “Tutankhamun – The Immersive Exhibition” in
partnership with Madrid Artes Digitales. Scheduled to open its doors in November,
coinciding with the very month when King Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered over
a century ago, the exhibition will provide a novel and creative storytelling experience,
making it a one-of-a-kind opportunity to rediscover King Tutankhamun’s story in
an entirely new way.
In a truly immersive experience, using
state-of-the-art digital projections, visitors will step into the life of the
legendary King Tutankhamun, embarking on a remarkable audiovisual journey that
spans over 3,400 years of history.
As they explore the recreated temples,
treasures, and secrets of Ancient Egypt, they will be enveloped in a 360-degree
visual spectacle, paired with an exceptional soundtrack that enhances the
experience.
“The Tutankhamun Immersive Exhibition,”
launched in Madrid, Spain in November 2022 by Madrid Artes Digitales at their
digital arts center ‘MAD’, received widespread acclaim, attracting over 300
thousand visitors in just eight months. The exhibition has also earned numerous
prestigious awards, solidifying its status as a must-see cultural experience.
This cutting-edge exhibition is part of
the GEM’s temporary exhibition series managed and organized by Legacy Development
and Management.
