Veteran Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh will perform his second concert from El-Asatza (The Masters) initiative at Cairo Opera House on September 29. Saleh performed the first concert at Cairo Opera House on July 31.
El-Asatza initiative is tailor made to revive the songs of Arab music icons in an orchestral approach.
Saleh teamed up with a number of arrangers like Ahmed Mostafa, Ahmed El-Mougy and Osama Kamal to reintroduce some of Arab music’s iconic compositions.
El- Asatza concerts which are backed by United Media Services and AlHayat TV channel, produced new orchestral visions for a selection of compositions from iconic musicians like Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, Farid El-Atrash, Kamale El-Taweel, Riad Al Sunbati, Mohamed Fawzy and others.
During the concert, Saleh performed a selection of his most popular songs.
